Postgraduate studies

Hi classmates! Today I will tell you about the postgrads studies that I would like to continue my studies.

Although I don't know with certainty what postgraduate studies I would like, I am convinced that I would like to continue my studies. There are different areas in which I would like to specialize, more specifically: roles and inequalities of gender, education or statistical research. I believe that a master's degree that allows me to address these different areas is the master's degree in social sciences of the University of Chile, therefore I would like to study this master when I finish my career. For this reason, I would prefer to study a postgraduate degree in Chile instead of continuing my studies abroad. This master is a part-time course, therefore, in case of studying this that would be the modality. But also, would not bother me study a postgraduate through distance learning or blended system. I do not really care to much the postgraduate format.

I would like to continue my studies in a postgraduate because I think that will able to me to better perform in future jobs and I will have more analytics tools so that the researches in which I will participate are a contribution for the society.

With regard to technology, my favorite piece of technology is my notebook.  When I was a child, I had access to a computer that belonged to my family, as there was only one, so I had to take turns to used it. Who am I?

I am Anais Herrera. I was born on december 20, 1998, in Santiago, Chile. I grew up in Santiago, in "La Florida", with my mom and my eldest sister. I went to "Raimapu" school during every my elementary school and two years of the highschool, where I made very good friends, I meet my boyfriend and I acquired much of the values that defined who I am. Despite this, I borred of the scholar system and I finished my highschool in the "Colegio para adultos instituto miraflores". As a result of that, I go in to the university last year, for to form me as sociology.  I'm the little sister of three sister and my parents decided broke his relationship when I are a little baby.  In my free time, I like be with my family or boyfriend, reading, walking and go to parks. My academic dreams

When I was a child I dreamed of being a teacher, of language or dance, but teacher. I loved to teach, the children and the school, so that any job that will involve this, it was a good idea. Years later, when I was in the last year of the high school, I had different career options in mind. Be a teacher was no longer an option, because with the controversy about the “carrera docente” to know that the working conditions of the teacher are very bad. In this moment, my top career options were psychology, law, or sociology. For decided what career studying, I asked my dad that to made a talk about these career, whit which I decided to study sociology because was that it complied with my projects.
