How to be "Team Human" in the digital future


Hi classmates! Today I talk about the Douglas Rushkoff video, titled "Team Human" and published in TED page. 
In the Douglas Rushkoff video he talks about the evolution of the society in the digital future. He begins talking about some tech billionaries and their concerns: how they will safeguard their fortune and material objects if an apocalypse occurs. Douglas Rushkoff think about this and say that the digital economy doesn't like  people, the technology does not help us form solidarity or concern for others. He talks about this with preocupation because he thinks the technology is no directly helping people, but otherwise. He explained that the humans in the tech age are every time more disconnected among themselves, we are more competitive and unconcerned about others. The technology provoke that the people just worry about themselves, makes them more and more individualistic. Douglas Rushkoff proposes that humans have to reconnect with other humans, because the evolution's a collaborative act. 
I think this is true to some extent, because I think that in this age humans are every time more disconnected among themselves, but I also think that the technology allows us to connect with other people with whom we could not have contact if it was not for the technology.

With regard to technology, my favorite piece of technology is my notebook.  When I was a child, I had access to a computer that belonged to my family, as there was only one, so I had to take turns to used it. Who am I?

I am Anais Herrera. I was born on december 20, 1998, in Santiago, Chile. I grew up in Santiago, in "La Florida", with my mom and my eldest sister. I went to "Raimapu" school during every my elementary school and two years of the highschool, where I made very good friends, I meet my boyfriend and I acquired much of the values that defined who I am. Despite this, I borred of the scholar system and I finished my highschool in the "Colegio para adultos instituto miraflores". As a result of that, I go in to the university last year, for to form me as sociology.  I'm the little sister of three sister and my parents decided broke his relationship when I are a little baby.  In my free time, I like be with my family or boyfriend, reading, walking and go to parks. My academic dreams

When I was a child I dreamed of being a teacher, of language or dance, but teacher. I loved to teach, the children and the school, so that any job that will involve this, it was a good idea. Years later, when I was in the last year of the high school, I had different career options in mind. Be a teacher was no longer an option, because with the controversy about the “carrera docente” to know that the working conditions of the teacher are very bad. In this moment, my top career options were psychology, law, or sociology. For decided what career studying, I asked my dad that to made a talk about these career, whit which I decided to study sociology because was that it complied with my projects.
